What is an Art Hive?
An Art Hive finds itself in a space that welcomes everyone as an artist and believes art making is a human behavior. Also known as "public homeplaces," these third spaces create multiple opportunities for dialogue, skill sharing, and art making between people of differing socio-economic backgrounds, ages, cultures and abilities.

The Art Hive
Every morning, students will be emerged in a creative space. Within this space, multiple art supplies will be available in order for them to foster self-directed experiences of creativity, learning, and skill sharing. During the school year, students will give a short workshop on a practice of their own. A collective zine with a step by step will be created with all the various workshops that will be offered. |
